My name is Christos Minterides and I am the director and organizer of The Exotic Drive.I would like to take a minute and say a couple of words about the idea behind The Exotic Drive. I am one of the many car enthusiasts on this beautiful island that we are lucky to live on. An island that despite of its small size has nothing to be jealous of when it comes to cars as we have pretty much every great car driving on Cyprus streets.

My love for cars drove me to create a different and unique car website in 2009: www.AutoKinisis.com.  A website that is dedicated just in cars, cars events, car sales and articles. Anything non car related cannot be found on my website. www.AutoKinisis.com was the first and only car website in Cyprus that offer to the clients the option to advertise with a video option. Still the only car website that organizes various car shows to promote its clients and voted as the best car website in Cyprus from the international BMW Performance magazine. At AutoKinisis.com we give you the option to be able to contact us directly let us know what you are looking to buy and we will find it for you, take you to test drive it and all for FREE.

Since the operation of www.AutoKinisis.com we were receiving many requests to create a similar website that is dedicated just to motorcycles and on November of 2010 we created www.MotoKinisis.com

In summer 2010 i was honoured enough to meet Mr.George Penentaex the president of the Make A Wish foundation here in Cyprus and after our interesting conversation, i got to see how much they offer as an organization and as individuals to all these children and their families I felt that I owe it to myself to help with anyway possible.

It was then that after chatting with a good friend of mine about what we can do to help that we came up with the idea of The Exotic Drive and i went for it all the way. A drive with cars that came out of dreams will drive through various roots with few stops were people have the option to go for a drive with, after bidding on the cars. All contributions were donated to the charity for the children.

With the support of the related authorities, the police, the city halls and the support of family and friends we hosted the firs Exotic Drive in July of 2010 and managed to collect €2000. A significant thing that came out is that everyone who helped or participated on the event became good friends with each other. I guess what they say that when you do something good something even better will come out of it is true as not only we get to help some children and families that really needed the support but we gain friends that will last for life.

I am really excited about the new Exotic Drive that will take place on May 28th and 29th and i am positive that this time we will raise double the money and we can make this an annual event.

I would like to thank all the drivers and now friends that took time out of their personal lives to make this event possible and contributed so much more.
